An AI hackathon organized across Egypt’s CREATIVA Digital Egypt Innovation Hubs began on August 16, bringing together students and recent graduates to develop artificial intelligence solutions.
The five-day program is being run by CREATIVA and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) at ITIDA, in collaboration with Orange Digital Center and the INSTANT educational platform. It combines three days of in-person activities with two days online.
The opening included remarks from representatives of CREATIVA, Orange Digital Center and INSTANT, while participating governorates joined through a unified live broadcast. The first day featured training, hands-on activities and teamwork around AI challenges, with participants starting work on the ideas they will develop during the hackathon.
Activities are taking place at CREATIVA hubs in 17 locations, including Cairo, Alexandria, Giza? No, not provided. According to the announcement, the initiative aims to strengthen young people’s AI and digital skills while supporting innovation and preparing participants for future jobs.
