The Ajman Chamber has launched a new program designed to increase the share of government procurement contracts awarded to local industrial facilities. The initiative, run in cooperation with the Ajman Department of Finance and the Ajman Transport Authority, aims to directly connect government procurement officials with national factories to showcase their production quality and capabilities.

Bridging the Gap Between Government and Industry
The Industrial Facilities Visitation Programme organizes direct field visits for procurement specialists from various government entities to leading factories in Ajman. The goal is to provide these officials with firsthand insight into the quality, efficiency, and innovation of locally-made industrial products, ensuring they meet government standards and requirements.
The chamber kicked off the program with a delegation visit to the Al Rahi Foodstuff Factory. Officials toured the production lines, reviewed the technologies used, and assessed product quality, followed by discussions on potential cooperation and integration into the government procurement framework.
Jamila Al Nuaimi, Director of the Relations and Members Support Department at Ajman Chamber, stated that the program aims to “support them, enhance their competitiveness in the local market and enable them to secure a greater share of government procurement contracts.”
Aligning with the “Make it in the Emirates” Strategy
The initiative is directly aligned with the broader goals of “Make it in the Emirates,” a national strategic initiative focused on strengthening the UAE’s industrial sector and boosting its contribution to the national economy. By highlighting the advanced capabilities of local manufacturers, the program seeks to build stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Government Communication at Ajman Chamber, commented that the program provides a “dynamic platform for national factories to showcase their production capabilities and establish direct partnerships that strengthen their position in the local market.”
