Aleppo Ascend: Startup Demo Day is opening applications to startups in Aleppo and nearby provinces, offering founders the chance to pitch investors and pursue pre-seed funding.
Organised by Startup Grind Damascus in partnership with Maynger Ventures, a Singapore-based international angel investor, the event is positioned as Aleppo’s first pre-seed investment summit. Selected startups will present their projects to investors and explore potential investment opportunities in the Syrian market.
Applicants will also receive pitching and investment-readiness preparation from a specialised company before the event, according to the announcement.
The demo day will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM GMT+3 in Aleppo, Syria. Applications close on September 7.
The organisers are inviting founders building startups in Aleppo and surrounding areas to apply or share the opportunity with promising entrepreneurs.
