- Headquarters & Operations: The startup must be headquartered in Qatar with a core part of its operations, leadership team, and workforce based locally.
- Investment Round: Applicants must have active participation in their investment round from a local, regional, or global VC fund as a lead or co-investor.
- Stage: The fund targets pre-seed and seed-stage startups with an MVP deployed or near completion, and may follow on in Series A rounds.
- Technology: Must be a deep tech solution with defensible competitive advantages (e.g., proprietary algorithms, novel processes) and target a large addressable market.
- Team: The startup must have a diverse, complementary founding team with technical depth, domain expertise, and a strong execution track record.
- Sector Focus: The fund focuses on deep tech that intersects with EdTech, HealthTech, CleanTech, AgriTech, PropTech, and other key sectors.
