Applications are open for BĀDER, a new programme supporting 25 established social and solidarity economy (SSE) entities in Lebanon with tailored business support and access to financing.

The project is being launched by the International Labour Organization, Alfanar Venture Philanthropy and Lebanese microfinance institution Al Majmoua under the PROSPECTS programme, funded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Selected organisations will receive business diagnostics, capacity building, one-to-one coaching, governance and financial-readiness support, as well as market access and networking opportunities. They may also access an interest-subsidised loan of up to $50,000 through Al Majmoua, subject to financial due diligence, and participate in an international study visit.

Applicants must be registered legal entities in Lebanon, generate revenue from productive activities, have a clear social, environmental or community mission, and have operated for at least two years. They must also have at least two direct employees or equivalent, operate in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, North Lebanon or Bekaa Valley, and be willing to take a programme loan.

Applications close on 1 November. An online information session will be held on 27 October from 2pm to 3:30pm.
