Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), in partnership with the Social Development Bank (SDB), has launched the “Future Pioneers” bootcamp, a new initiative under its Athar social responsibility program. The program is designed to support entrepreneurs by preparing their projects to secure financing and accelerate their growth.

An Intensive Program for Funding Readiness
The bootcamp attracted significant interest from the Saudi startup community, with over 220 founders applying to participate. From this pool, 12 projects were chosen for an intensive three-day program that included specialized training and mentorship sessions, business model reviews, and assistance in developing project files to meet funding requirements.
The program focuses on the practical aspects of business development across several high-growth tracks, including FinTech, LogiTech, PropTech, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. Mentorship sessions are led by a group of industry experts to ensure participants are well-equipped to access available financing opportunities.
A Partnership to Bolster the National Economy
“This initiative reflects BSF’s commitment to supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem and enabling startups to access opportunities that help them grow and sustain,” said Faisal Darwish, Head of Institutional Banking at BSF. “Our partnership with the Social Development Bank is a model of integration between the financial and development sectors in supporting the national economy.”
Eng. Muaidh Al-Baishi, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at the Social Development Bank, emphasized the partnership’s role in maximizing social responsibility impact. He noted that the SDB has successfully built a portfolio exceeding SAR 360 million, with ambitions to grow it into a billion-riyals fund to support entrepreneurial projects and create jobs.
“The launch of the ‘Future Pioneers’ bootcamp is an extension of this approach, qualifying and empowering startups and connecting them with financing opportunities,” Al-Baishi stated. “This contributes to turning promising ideas into successful national companies and creating sustainable success stories that enhance economic growth.”
