The Creative Arts Incubator at Capital University’s Faculty of Art Education is expanding efforts to connect artistic skills with market opportunities through specialized training, exhibitions and entrepreneurship partnerships.

The incubator offers practical workshops in textiles, wood, leather, laser techniques and CNC engraving. The programs are designed to help students and creative talent develop ideas into products and projects that can be produced and marketed, according to the announcement.

Opened on September 24, 2024, the incubator aims to combine arts expertise with entrepreneurship support. Its activities include technical, administrative and marketing training, as well as advisory services and partnerships to help promote creative products.

The initiative is also intended to narrow the gap between academic study and the labor market while creating pathways to self-employment and productive ventures for students and graduates.

Capital University said it is focused on supporting innovation and knowledge- and creativity-driven projects. The university is seeking to strengthen cooperation with organizations that support emerging ventures and provide a more supportive environment for creative entrepreneurs.

Its training activities include hands-on work with textile looms, wood, leather, laser tools and CNC machines, giving participants practical experience alongside their academic education.
