Damascus is set to launch its 2026 series of specialized exhibitions this week, a five-day event aimed at gathering local, regional, and international companies in the construction, energy, and industrial sectors. Organized by Tayara for International Fairs and Conferences, the event takes place at the Damascus Fairground City and is positioned as a key platform for Syria’s reconstruction and industrial development efforts.
Quick Facts
- Combines three major expos: TechnoBuild, Syria Energy, and SINEX.
- Features exhibitors from over ten countries, including the UAE.
- Covers a total area exceeding 45,000 square meters.
A Convergence of Key Sectors
The event brings together three distinct but interconnected exhibitions. “TechnoBuild” focuses on building, construction, and infrastructure, while “Syria Energy” covers electricity, conventional and renewable energy, and industrial automation. The third, “SINEX,” is the Syrian International Industrial Exhibition, showcasing production lines, industrial equipment, raw materials, and modern technologies.
The exhibitions will also feature a program of specialized scientific seminars and lectures. These sessions, led by experts from Syria and abroad, will address the latest developments in the fields of construction, energy, and industry.
Broad Regional and International Participation
The event has attracted a wide range of participants from countries including Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, the UAE, Turkey, China, Italy, and Switzerland. Global company agents will also be present.
Syrian state-affiliated entities, including companies under the Ministries of Public Works, Housing, and Industry, and the National Center for Energy Research, are participating. This government presence underscores the event’s role as an economic and investment platform designed to connect key players in reconstruction and industrial growth.
Fostering Economic Recovery and Partnerships
In a statement, Tayara for International Fairs and Conferences noted that the exhibition series continues its three-decade-long approach to supporting reconstruction efforts. The organization aims to provide a practical venue for investors, producers, government bodies, and experts to connect, ultimately contributing to the national economy and encouraging local investment and production.
The organizers have extended an invitation to media, business leaders, and investors to visit the exhibitions, explore the latest products and technologies, and establish new partnerships that can support development and reconstruction in the country. The previous edition, held in May 2025, hosted dozens of companies and served as a hub for economic cooperation and attracting investment.
