DMCC’s Gaming Centre has grown by 30% over the past year to 165 member companies, as the Dubai business district signed a strategic partnership with the Serbian Games Association (SGA) at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne.
The agreement aims to strengthen commercial links between gaming companies in Dubai and Serbia. It will focus on market entry support, business connectivity, knowledge exchange and joint industry initiatives.
According to the announcement, DMCC and SGA will explore soft-landing support for companies entering either market, connect businesses across both ecosystems and share industry expertise and market intelligence. The organisations will also consider joint events, webinars and reciprocal access to co-working facilities.
The Gaming Centre added nearly 40 companies over the past 12 months. It is part of DMCC’s wider technology community, which includes more than 4,000 companies across gaming, artificial intelligence, crypto, Web3 and cybersecurity.
DMCC said the partnership is intended to help gaming companies expand between Europe and the Middle East, while creating access to commercial partnerships, talent, investors and international markets. The organisation is participating at Gamescom as part of the Dubai Pavilion alongside the Dubai Films and Games Commission.
