du’s Youth Council has launched Emirati Entrepreneur Month to highlight young Emirati founders and the businesses they are building, as part of the company’s International Youth Day activities on 12 August.
The campaign features three UAE-founded businesses: HOOP, a coffee and snacks concept; House of Favola, a fragrance and artisanal ice cream brand; and Telo, an emerging sportswear label. According to the announcement, the founders’ stories reflect the innovation, resilience and execution associated with Dubai’s “Dubai-it” philosophy.
The entrepreneurs will share first-person accounts of their journeys across du’s social media channels. Special events will also be held at du’s headquarters, giving employees, aspiring entrepreneurs, Youth Council members and the wider UAE community a closer look at the path from idea to business.
As part of the celebrations, du’s Youth Council partnered with Maharat to deliver a practical artificial intelligence workshop led by an Emirati expert. The session introduced participants to real-world AI applications and aimed to strengthen future-ready digital skills among young Emiratis.
The initiatives form part of du’s stated support for youth empowerment and the UAE’s local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
