Dubai-based AI startup aradus says it has automated more than 90% of customer orders and inbound inquiries across live workflows for clients in the MENA region.
The platform is built for manufacturers, distributors and importers, handling tasks such as order processing, customer questions, document validation, shipment tracking, inventory updates and routine communications. It works within the business systems companies already use, alongside email, WhatsApp and spreadsheets, rather than requiring them to replace existing tools.
According to the company, shipment tracking automation alone helps avoid an estimated $100 to $200 in demurrage charges per container. aradus also says its AI agents can flag discrepancies and route tasks requiring human approval to employees with the relevant context and a recommended action.
The startup is targeting sectors including pharmaceuticals and medical products, food and beverage, cosmetics and personal care, electronics, plastics and packaging, auto parts, and industrial goods.
Karam El Assaad, co-founder and CEO of aradus, said the company aims to reduce the operational burden on teams while keeping people involved in decisions that require human judgment. The startup describes its approach as an AI operational layer for the physical economy, focused on automating routine work across procurement, sales, logistics, order management, inventory and finance.
