Dubai Municipality has entered a strategic partnership with aerial delivery service Keeta Drone to roll out drone delivery services across some of the city’s public parks and beaches. The collaboration aims to integrate advanced aerial logistics into public infrastructure, enhancing the visitor experience and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a hub for smart mobility.

Quick Facts

  • Partnership for drone delivery in Dubai’s public spaces.
  • Service launching in select parks and beaches.
  • Aims to improve convenience and operational efficiency.

Integrating Aerial Logistics into Public Spaces

The agreement sets up a framework to develop and implement drone delivery routes for public facilities. Visitors will be able to get on-demand access to food and beverage items, essentials, and other services, delivered directly to their location within parks and on beaches. This initiative is designed to improve delivery speed and accessibility, creating a more seamless experience for residents and tourists enjoying Dubai’s public destinations.

The partnership will also explore the long-term scalability of drone infrastructure within Dubai’s urban ecosystem, focusing on sustainable and future-focused mobility solutions.

A Vision for Future-Ready Urban Experiences

This move aligns with Dubai’s broader ambition to become a global leader in adopting advanced mobility solutions that improve quality of life.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, commented, “Through this collaboration with Keeta Drone, Dubai Municipality is exploring innovative mobility solutions that support more efficient service delivery and contribute to creating future-ready public spaces designed around convenience, accessibility, and enhanced visitor experiences.”

Dr. Yinian Mao, President of Keeta Drone, added, “Our partnership stands for meeting people where they already are — at the park, at the beach, and within the public spaces that shape everyday life in Dubai. Together, we are exploring how aerial delivery can bring services closer to those moments in a way that is safe, seamless, and built around the needs of the people who use them.”

Phased Rollout and Operational Framework

The first drone delivery activations are scheduled to launch later this year as part of a phased citywide rollout.

Under the agreement, Dubai Municipality will identify suitable locations for implementation and provide operational coordination to ensure the initiative aligns with urban planning policies. Keeta Drone will manage the technical side, including assessing locations, designing aerial delivery routes compliant with regulatory standards, and conducting operational testing.
