Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development (Dubai SME), an agency of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, has announced the launch of the “Future Council” entrepreneurship program. The initiative is designed to help ambitious young entrepreneurs, university students, and promising professionals transform innovative ideas into viable, investment-ready businesses.
Quick Facts
- What: A new three-day entrepreneurship bootcamp.
- For Who: Young entrepreneurs, students, and aspiring professionals.
- Goal: Turn concepts into fundable business models.
From Idea to Pitch Deck
The pilot program will run as an intensive three-day bootcamp from April 28 to 30, 2026, at the Dubai Entrepreneurs Headquarters. The format focuses on practical application, guiding participants through idea development, team formation, business model creation, and pitch refinement.
The program combines hands-on learning with direct engagement with the Dubai startup ecosystem. Participants will work in teams, benefit from specialized mentorship sessions, and test the validity of their ideas in a structured environment. The bootcamp culminates in a final pitch session where teams present their projects to a specialized judging committee.
Bridging Talent with the Ecosystem
The Future Council aims to provide a clear pathway from concept to execution, aligning with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to double the size of the emirate’s economy by 2033. The program is designed to be a recurring initiative, creating a sustainable pipeline for early-stage startup support.
“The Future Council seeks to help young entrepreneurs move from the inspiration stage to implementation by providing them with the necessary tools, guidance, and opportunities,” said Ahmed Al Rumaithi, Acting CEO of Dubai SME. “The program also contributes to connecting participants directly with mentors and partners in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, supporting the development of a new generation of founders.”
The judging panel features representatives from major public and private sector entities, including Dubai Municipality, du, Wio Bank, Aramex, Digital Dubai, Dubai Sports Council, and the in5 hub, alongside Dubai SME. The top three winning teams will be recognized at the conclusion of the program.
