e& has launched its first AI-powered laptop for enterprise customers in the UAE, featuring built-in large language models (LLMs) designed to run directly on the device, even without an internet connection.
Called the AI Laptop by e&, the device uses Snapdragon X Series processors from Qualcomm Technologies to support offline AI workloads, lower latency and local data processing. According to the company, this architecture is designed to strengthen privacy and data sovereignty for government, financial services, healthcare, education, logistics and other regulated sectors.
The laptop also includes enterprise-grade security and IT management tools, allowing organisations to centrally manage deployments across departments and locations. e& said the device is suited to environments where connectivity may be limited or restricted, including oil and gas sites, logistics hubs and remote educational institutions.
Two configurations will be available. The S1-14 Elite includes a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite processor, up to 32GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage. The S1-14 Plus comes with an eight-core Snapdragon X Plus processor, 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage.
Both models run Windows 11 Pro and feature a 14-inch QHD display, Wi-Fi 7, a 65Wh battery, 65W USB-C charging and 36-month onsite support.
