The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will fully waive administrative service fees for the first 20 companies that meet listing requirements and apply to join its Small and Medium-Sized Companies Market.
Launched in cooperation with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), the initiative is designed to lower the cost of accessing capital market financing for Egyptian SMEs.
Eligible companies must be nominated for listing by MSMEDA, submit the required documents and complete the listing process by September 30, 2026. They must also provide a three-year business plan approved by their sponsor or a Financial Regulatory Authority-accredited financial adviser. The plan must outline expansion targets, planned capital increases and expected profits.
The exemption covers administrative services related to reviewing listing applications, adding securities to EGX tables and publishing financial statements. It does not change requirements under Egypt’s Capital Market Law or its executive regulations.
According to the announcement, MSMEDA will continue supporting eligible companies through financing, workshops and efforts to simplify listing procedures. EGX will monitor beneficiaries’ progress through its Disclosure Sector, with the possibility of extending the exemption based on the initiative’s results.
