The Big Geeks X Competition 2025, a national innovation challenge aimed at empowering young innovators and early-stage startups, has successfully concluded, announcing its top 10 finalists and 3 winning teams. The competition focused on developing impactful solutions in HealthTech, ManuTech, and GreenTech.
By the Numbers
The competition saw a strong turnout and awarded significant prizes to its top teams:
- 24 Competing Teams: The number of teams that were rigorously evaluated in the final stages.
- EGP 30,000: The grand prize awarded to each of the two top winners, Ecoshell and Biolumnicare.
- EGP 10,000: The first prize awarded to the third winner, Online with U.
Meet the Winners
After a rigorous evaluation of 24 competing teams, three innovators stood out:
- Grand Prize Winner: Ecoshell.
- Grand Prize Winner: Biolumnicare.
- First Prize Winner: Online with U.
In addition, two other finalists, Vortex and Manbat, were fast-tracked into the Big Geeks Pre-Incubation Program for further mentorship and support.
A Journey of Mentorship and Innovation
The competition timeline spanned several months, beginning with the application phase in May and culminating in the final pitches on August 9, 2025. Throughout June and July, the participants received intensive mentorship to help them develop their ideas into impactful solutions.
