Egypt’s National Research Centre will launch a free training programme on October 14 to help researchers and innovators turn scientific ideas into market-ready and investable projects.
titled “Beyond the Idea: From Innovation to Market and Investment,” the programme will take place across three training days, on October 14, 19 and 21, at the centre’s headquarters in Dokki, Giza. It is being organised by the centre’s General Secretariat and the Entrepreneurship Committee at its Institute of Medical Research and Clinical Studies.
The first day will cover innovation pitching, intellectual property protection and testing market needs. The second will focus on funding and investment mechanisms, common misconceptions about startups and building effective teams.
The final session will address business model design, project presentations and preparation for pitching ideas to a panel of experts and investors. The programme will combine workshops with direct advisory support and practical project reviews.
It is aimed at research staff, researchers, innovators, and people developing research-based ideas and projects with commercial potential. Participants who meet the training requirements will receive a certificate from the centre, according to the announcement.
