Reimagining Reading with Publisher-Friendly AI

Sinai.ai aims to move beyond traditional digital text with its patented “aiBook” technology, a format designed to convert standard books into immersive multimedia experiences. Users can engage with content in real time, generate study guides, switch between reading and listening, and visually explore complex narratives.

Crucially, the platform operates on a direct licensing model with publishers. This approach is designed to address the intellectual property concerns that often arise with traditional generative AI models, ensuring that content creators’ rights are protected while unlocking new commercial avenues. The company has already secured partnerships with dozens of major publishing houses, building a library of thousands of titles.

Fueling AI Infrastructure and Content Growth

The fresh capital will be used to enhance Sinai.ai’s proprietary technologies and AI infrastructure. The company also plans to accelerate user acquisition and expand its content licensing agreements.

Ahmed Kamel, Co-founder and CEO of Sinai.ai, commented on the fundraise, stating, “This funding will be directed toward strengthening our AI infrastructure, expanding our user base, and increasing content licensing, with the aim of offering a partnership model that protects publishers’ rights while opening new global market opportunities through interactive technologies.”

The round also saw participation from Maza Ventures, YOUXEL Ventures, and a group of angel investors.

Investor Confidence in Egyptian Innovation

The investment highlights growing confidence in Egyptian-led tech ventures with global ambitions. The founding team at Sinai.ai brings together academic and technical experience from prominent international institutions.

“The Egyptian team behind Sinai.ai is building a transformative model that delivers an unprecedented learning and discovery experience,” said Mohamed Okasha, Co-founder at DisrupTech Ventures. “We are proud to support Egyptian founders who are pushing the boundaries of innovation beyond local markets.”
