Endeavor Catalyst, the venture capital arm of global entrepreneurship network Endeavor, has closed its fifth fund at $320 million, taking assets under management above $850 million.

The oversubscribed fund drew around 400 limited partners, including the founders of Nubank, Revolut, Checkout.com and Careem, as well as Reid Hoffman, Bill Ackman and Prosus. Around 30% of its investors are entrepreneurs from Endeavor’s network, according to the announcement.

Fund V plans to invest in up to 150 companies, typically committing $1 million to $3 million per deal. Endeavor Catalyst co-invests alongside institutional investors and only backs companies founded by entrepreneurs selected into Endeavor’s network. Eligible companies must also secure an institutionally led funding round of at least $5 million.

About 90% of the fund’s investments are outside the United States, with a focus on markets across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The fund has already invested in companies including Replit, Moove, Preply, Cashea, Respond.io, EnduroSat, HappyRobot and Lunar Outpost.

In MENA, its previous investments include Egypt’s Blink, Nawy and Thndr, Morocco’s Chari, Saudi Arabia’s Gathern and SILQ, and the UAE’s Tarjama.

Since 2012, Endeavor Catalyst has backed 437 companies across 44 markets, including 83 valued at $1 billion or more. Its portfolio has recorded 39 exits and 11 IPOs.
