The program offers two distinct paths designed to support founders at different stages, from concept to scale-up, with a focus on solving key challenges in the energy sector.

Accelerator Program Overview
The OQ Accelerator Programme, run by the company’s innovation hub OQX, aims to collaborate with startups to develop solutions for the energy sector. It is divided into two paths: a 3-month Pre-Acceleration path for early-stage founders (concept to prototype) looking to validate their market fit, and a 6-month Acceleration path for post-MVP startups ready to scale their business and achieve market dominance.
Key Benefits
- Funding Opportunities: Pre-Accelerator participants are eligible for up to $100,000 from Future Fund Oman (FFO). Accelerator participants can receive a $50,000 grant and potential follow-on investment of up to $450,000 from OQ.
- Expert Mentorship: Receive guidance from mentors and in-house subject matter experts with deep knowledge across more than 15 clean energy sectors.
- Ecosystem Access: Gain entry to OQ’s extensive community of staff, alumni, mentors, and investors, providing unique connections to Oman’s thriving ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria
- Founders: Startups must have at least two members, including at least one full-time founder dedicated to the program.
- Alignment: Your startup’s solution must align with one of the program’s focus areas.
- Location: The Pre-Accelerator track is exclusively for Omani startups. The Accelerator track is open to global applicants. All participants must be available to visit Muscat, Oman during the program.
