Etisalat UAE and enterprise AI company DataRobot have signed a multi-year agreement to build, operate and govern an agentic AI workforce across the telecom operator’s business units.
Under the deal, DataRobot’s Agent Workforce Platform will run in Etisalat UAE’s own data centre, allowing the company to keep sensitive data and AI workloads on its self-managed infrastructure. Financial terms were not disclosed.
According to the announcement, the platform will bring predictive, generative and agentic AI together under a single governance framework. Etisalat UAE will use it to develop, deploy and manage selected AI workloads while controlling where they run, what data they can access and how they are governed.
The agreement extends a partnership that began in 2022. The companies have worked on predictive AI use cases including churn prevention, upsell and cross-sell targeting, and credit risk optimisation.
Etisalat UAE said the collaboration has strengthened governance across its machine learning portfolio and helped teams deliver models faster. The new programme will support use cases in customer experience, regulatory compliance, sales effectiveness and operational efficiency, with AI champions and an enterprise sandbox supporting deployment across business units.
