A new specialized acceleration program, FastTrack JordanTech Innovators, has officially launched to support technology startups emerging from Jordanian universities. The program kicked off last Saturday with an event at Amman Arab University, bringing together the selected startups, university partners, and key stakeholders from Jordan’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

A Collaborative Push for University Innovation
The launch event marked the beginning of a focused journey designed to help university-affiliated tech companies refine their solutions, validate market opportunities, strengthen their business models, and prepare for growth and investment.
The initiative is a joint effort, co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU). It is being implemented with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in collaboration with Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE).
Opening remarks at the launch were delivered by representatives from Amman Arab University, the Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund, the IEEE Jordan Section, and the Jordan Engineers Association, signaling broad support from both academic and professional bodies.
From Prototypes to Market-Ready Products
The FastTrack JordanTech program aims to guide the next generation of tech innovators through the critical transition from early-stage prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to achieving growth, securing strategic partnerships, and exploring commercial expansion opportunities.
The launch event included an introductory presentation of the program, an overview of its monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and the first session of an intensive training bootcamp for the participating startups.
