PIEC Scaleup, the second phase of the Palestinian Innovation and Entrepreneurship Catalyst, has launched in Ramallah to create a connected support pathway for Palestinian startups.
The program will support companies across an eight-stage journey, from idea generation and venture building to product development, market entry, investment readiness, growth and regional expansion. It aims to support 202 companies toward sustainability.
Flow Accelerator launched the initiative with Flat6Labs, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Swiss Representative Office in Palestine. Seedstars is also participating.
According to the announcement, the program will coordinate with existing entrepreneurship initiatives while improving startups’ access to capital, investors and regional markets. Investment readiness will be treated as an ongoing process focused on building the data, evidence and company foundations needed to engage investors over time.
The initiative builds on PIEC’s first phase, which ran for about two years and helped 37 startups reach the market. Ten advanced companies joined acceleration programs, while four institutional investment deals were recorded. Around 40% of beneficiary companies operate outside the Palestinian market, according to the program.
