Every year, trillions of dollars are at stake in procurement processes, yet many organizations manage these high-value deals with spreadsheets and email chains. Witnessing this inefficiency firsthand while at Adobe, Houssam Eddine Kassah Laouar founded RFxAI in 2024 to create an AI-native operating system for how enterprise deals get done.
Quick Facts
- Founder: Ex-Adobe lead Houssam Eddine Kassah Laouar.
- Platform: AI-powered operating system for enterprise deals.
- Impact: Reduces tender analysis time by 70% for clients.
Solving a Problem Born from Experience
Before launching RFxAI, founder Houssam Eddine Kassah Laouar led Commerce Cloud Solutions Architecture at Adobe for the EMEA region. He saw enterprise sales teams spend countless hours on repetitive administrative work—searching for information, coordinating departments, and drafting responses—instead of focusing on strategy.
This experience was the catalyst for RFxAI. The goal wasn’t just to build another writing tool but to create a comprehensive platform that manages the entire lifecycle for both buyers and sellers, from discovering opportunities to generating, collaborating on, and evaluating responses.
“We weren’t trying to build another tool that helps you write faster,” explains Houssam. “We were trying to build the operating system for how deals get done, end to end, for both sides of the table.”
Launching a Global Vision from Doha
While RFxAI was founded with a global vision, Qatar provided the ideal launchpad. The company joined the MCIT Digital Incubation Centre before becoming part of Qatar Science & Technology Park’s (QSTP) Deep-Tech Incubation Programme.
Early support was critical. In 2025, a Small Business Innovation Grant (SBIG) from the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council (QRDI) helped the company develop and validate its technology. This momentum grew as RFxAI was named DeepTech Startup of the Year at the Qatar Entrepreneurship Awards, cementing its potential within the local ecosystem.
“Being part of a technology-focused ecosystem in Qatar has enabled us to connect with partners, enterprises, and investors while positioning RFxAI for regional and global expansion,” says Houssam.
Proving the Model with Major Clients
For a startup tackling high-stakes procurement processes, customer validation is everything. RFxAI achieved a significant milestone with Nabina Holding, a leading construction and building materials group in the region.
The traditionally time-intensive process of tender analysis, which involves reviewing vast amounts of information and comparing suppliers, was dramatically streamlined. According to Nabina Holding, RFxAI reduced its tender analysis time by 70%, turning tasks that once took days into a matter of hours. This result provided clear proof that the platform was solving a real-world business challenge and delivering measurable value.
Gaining International Recognition
As customer success stories grew, so did international interest. In 2026, RFxAI was the only Qatari startup selected for the Google for Startups Accelerator for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey region.
The company also participated in the AlchemistX Residency Program in Silicon Valley, gaining exposure to global investors and tech leaders. Soon after, RFxAI became a Microsoft Certified Partner and joined the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner ecosystem. These achievements confirmed that the procurement challenges RFxAI was addressing were not regional, but universal.
Today, RFxAI operates from its base at QSTP in Doha and maintains a presence in Palo Alto, California, serving a diverse client base across government, healthcare, finance, and technology.
