Teel Floral Studio, founded by Noora Matar Al Suwaidi and Mahra Albalghouni, grew from a shared interest in planning events, styling spaces and creating meaningful experiences.
The Sharjah-based founders launched Teel online while both were working full-time. For nearly two years, they tested ideas, learned from mistakes and listened to customers before shaping the business around personalised floral arrangements, gifts and presentation.
According to Sheraa, Teel’s approach goes beyond selling flowers. The team considers the recipient, occasion and desired emotion before bringing each arrangement together. The founders view flowers as a way to translate customers’ feelings and intentions into something tangible.
As the company grew, Al Suwaidi and Albalghouni shifted from handling every order and customer interaction to building systems, delegating responsibilities and developing a team that could preserve Teel’s standards.
The founders’ participation in Sheraa’s Sharjah Women Impact Fellowship has supported their leadership development and connected them with mentors, founders and potential corporate and government clients.
One customer’s journey, from engagement flowers to a bridal bouquet and arrangements for her child’s milestones, reflects the long-term relationships Teel aims to build through its work.
