Building on a successful series of global showcases, Propeller is bringing its high-energy “Infra Demo Night” to Riyadh on June 6, 2026. This invite-only gathering, co-hosted with regional heavyweights STV and BECO Capital, is designed specifically for software engineers, technical founders, and infrastructure enthusiasts. Held at COLABS, the evening promises a raw, unfiltered look at the tools, open-source projects, and stealth companies being built within the Kingdom’s rapidly maturing deep-tech ecosystem.

Event Details

  • What: Infrastructure Software Demo Night
  • When: Saturday, June 6, 2026 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM GMT+3

About The Event

Propeller’s Demo Nights have become a staple for the “builder” community, recently making stops in innovation hubs like Menlo Park before returning to Riyadh. Unlike traditional pitch competitions that focus on business models and market sizing, these sessions are strictly technical. The mission is to foster a local community of infrastructure software startup founders and engineers by providing a platform for “live-only” demonstrations. The event operates on a “no slides, no recordings” policy to encourage candid technical feedback and genuine peer-to-peer connection.

What to Expect

  • Live Technical Demos: Watch 5–6 selected builders showcase CLI tools, open-source projects, or quiet companies. If the code breaks, the audience and presenters debug together.
  • Expert Feedback: Presenters receive direct, thoughtful feedback from established technical leaders in the regional and global VC space.
  • Curated Networking: A high-density environment of software engineers and technical builders, ideal for finding collaborators or early adopters.
  • Refreshments and Food: Casual catering provided to facilitate networking before and after the formal demo sessions.

While the event focuses on the builders themselves, the session is hosted and moderated by key figures from the Propeller investment team and regional partners:

  • Zaid Farekh: Founder and Managing Partner, Propeller
  • Hani Azzam: Partner, Propeller
  • Abdulaziz Alhouti: Investment Professional, Propeller
  • STV & BECO Capital Teams: Representatives from these leading MENA VC firms will be present to offer feedback and insights.

How to Attend

Due to the intimate nature of the event and the focus on technical depth, attendance is subject to approval. Priority is given to software engineers and active builders.

  • To Demo: Builders are encouraged to apply early as only 5–6 slots are available. Apply to Demo here.
  • To Watch: Those interested in providing feedback and networking can Request to Join here.
