Jahez Application, in partnership with the Kuwait Innovation Center (KIC), has successfully concluded Kuwait’s First Food Innovation Hackathon. The national initiative brought together youth, startups, and aspiring innovators to reimagine the future of the food sector through technology and entrepreneurship.

- 19 Teams: The number of teams, including 12 group teams and 7 individual participants, that competed in the program.
A Platform to Empower Kuwait’s Youth
Over the course of the program, the 19 participating teams competed to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions addressing real challenges in the food and delivery sector. The projects ranged from AI-powered applications and data-driven solutions to logistics optimization models, showcasing the creativity and technical strength of Kuwait’s youth. Beyond the technological solutions, the hackathon also reinforced the importance of collaboration between startups, students, and industry leaders, fostering a culture of innovation in Kuwait.

Meet the Winners
The winners were honored during a closing ceremony at the Jahez head office. The winning projects were:
- First Place: Project Wasel (Nour Altunaib, Somou Aloun, Sedra Asrawi, Noura Almethin, Alaa Alkandari).
- Second Place: Project Lamma (Yousef Qasem, Khaled Qasem).
- Third Place: Dynamic Pricing (Omar Alotaibi).
The winners were evaluated based on originality, uniqueness, market feasibility, and their potential to make a real impact on Kuwait’s food sector.
A Milestone for Kuwait’s Innovation Ecosystem
This milestone initiative reaffirmed Jahez’s commitment to advancing Kuwait’s innovation ecosystem and empowering young talent, in line with the nation’s Vision 2035. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including representatives from the National Fund, the Public Authority for Youth, and Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, as well as notable figures from the tech and business communities.
