The King Abdullah II Fund for Development and Zain Jordan have signed a cooperation agreement to launch a joint program supporting entrepreneurs and startups in Jordan.

The initiative brings together the fund’s experience in implementing development and entrepreneurship projects with Zain’s experience through its ZINC innovation platform and annual Zain Al-Mubadara program. The partnership is designed to provide Jordanian founders and aspiring entrepreneurs with more integrated support throughout their business journey.

The program will target both early-stage ideas and startups, helping participants move from concept to an operating business and prepare existing ventures for growth, investment and expansion, according to the announcement.

Support will include financing, mentorship, practical guidance, access to experts and connections with major companies, investors and potential partners. The program will also help startups improve their products and services, understand changing market needs, strengthen their operational and commercial capabilities, and identify new routes to markets and funding.

The fund said the partnership aligns with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision and its focus on youth, innovation and entrepreneurship. Zain said the joint program aims not only to help founders launch businesses, but also to build sustainable models capable of generating revenue, attracting investment and growing in the market.
