Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) has renewed its strategic partnership with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), extending their collaboration to support Jordan’s startup ecosystem for the years 2026-2027. The agreement focuses on scaling the “Reyadah” program into a comprehensive national model for entrepreneurial support across all of the Kingdom’s governorates.
Quick Facts
- Partnership extended for the 2026-2027 period.
- Focus is on expanding the “Reyadah” program nationwide.
- Aims to support founders from idea to investment readiness.
Scaling a National Support System for Founders
The renewed partnership builds on the success of the “Reyadah” program, which launched in 2025 to help entrepreneurs transform innovative ideas into sustainable businesses through training, mentorship, and financing. The program’s initial cycle saw significant interest from across Jordan, resulting in the selection of several promising ventures for implementation and empowerment.
Through this two-year collaboration, JKB will continue to back KAFD’s efforts in evolving the program into a full-fledged national platform. The initiative is designed to guide entrepreneurs through every stage of their journey—from ideation and incubation to training, funding, and ultimately, achieving investment readiness and market access.
The agreement was signed by Haitham Al-Batikhi, CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank Group, and Dr. Samer Al-Mufleh, Director General of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development.
A Strategic Vision for Economic Growth
Haitham Al-Batikhi, CEO of JKB Group, emphasized that the renewal reflects the bank’s vision of investing in sustainable economic development. “We view entrepreneurship as a key driver of economic growth and job creation,” Al-Batikhi stated. “Supporting it aligns with our strategy to promote sustainability, financial inclusion, and the objectives of the Economic Modernization Vision.”
Dr. Samer Al-Mufleh, Director General of KAFD, highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in building a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem. “This partnership reflects the need for integrated roles among various partners to build a sustainable national system that supports youth-led ideas,” he noted. “Strategic partnerships are a cornerstone for expanding the impact of our development programs.”
