The Jordanian German University hosted Startup Alley 2026 in Madaba on October 21, bringing together 44 startups, investors and entrepreneurs as part of Future Tech Summit 2026.

Organised in partnership with Startup Grind Amman and Parachute16, the event aimed to connect startups with potential investors and partners. Participating companies included startups from Jordan, Germany and Syria, as well as six companies from the university’s business incubator and three from the EDU-Syria programme.

The startups showcased solutions in robotics, drones, health technology and sustainable innovation. The programme also featured discussions on how investors assess teams, markets, business models and funding readiness, alongside sessions on the future of education and practical lessons for building and scaling startups.

A startup tour gave participants the opportunity to meet founders and explore the projects on display, while the event created space for discussions on funding, partnerships and the challenges faced by startups during their early growth stages.
