The Jordanian Society for Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Innovation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s Shanghai National International Intellectual Property Operation Platform. The agreement aims to strengthen international cooperation, focusing on innovation, intellectual property (IP), and technology transfer to support Jordan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A Framework for Collaboration
The MoU establishes a formal structure for joint cooperation between the two entities. Signed by Dr. Imad Al-Ayasra, President of the Jordanian Society, and Pan Xi, representative of the Shanghai platform, the partnership will cover several key areas.
Cooperation will include IP consulting, marketing and transferring technology, and building robust innovation systems. The agreement also aims to enhance communication between government bodies and the private sector, organize trade delegations, and connect investors with promising Jordanian projects through conferences, seminars, and exhibitions.
Building a Bridge to China
Dr. Al-Ayasra stated that the agreement marks a significant move toward building effective international partnerships with leading Chinese institutions. He emphasized the value of learning from China’s advanced expertise in managing and operating intellectual property.
“This partnership will positively impact the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Jordan and opens new horizons for cooperation in technology, investment, and knowledge transfer,” Dr. Al-Ayasra commented. He added that the deal aligns with the society’s strategy to expand its international network and build sustainable bridges for collaboration between Jordan and China.
