Kaspersky has updated its Threat Intelligence Portal with AI summarization, Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectivity and automated searches across open-source intelligence sources.
The company said the new features are designed to help security operations centre teams and threat analysts process large volumes of data more quickly. AI summarization condenses information linked to indicators of compromise, threat actors and campaigns into shorter summaries, helping analysts identify items that may require deeper investigation.
The summarization and search tools also cover indicators discovered through OSINT searches, providing an overview of related information and helping teams prioritize findings.
MCP connectivity allows organizations to connect their own or third-party AI applications directly to the portal. According to Kaspersky, this gives AI tools flexible access to external threat intelligence and supports more adaptable security workflows.
The portal is built on more than 25 petabytes of Kaspersky’s proprietary threat context. The new features are available through existing Kaspersky Threat Lookup licenses, which include a standard request quota. Additional requests can be purchased for organizations that need higher volumes.
