Lenovo And NVIDIA Roll Out Gigawatt-Scale Enterprise AI Infrastructure

Global technology giant Lenovo has unveiled its next-generation Hybrid AI Advantage solutions in collaboration with NVIDIA, marking a significant push to accelerate enterprise artificial intelligence adoption. Announced at NVIDIA GTC, the new infrastructure targets the critical shift from model training to real-time inferencing, scaling from individual workstations to gigawatt-level AI cloud deployments.

Scaling Production-Ready AI Infrastructure

As artificial intelligence matures from experimental training models to real-time decision engines, inferencing has emerged as the primary driver of enterprise value. Organizations require robust, secure infrastructure that spans edge environments, localized data centers, and the cloud to process data rapidly and securely.

According to the CIO Playbook 2026 commissioned by Lenovo and conducted by IDC, 84% of organizations anticipate running AI operations across on-premises or edge environments in tandem with cloud architecture. This demand has triggered a race to build validated, production-scale hybrid platforms.

“Together, Lenovo and NVIDIA are uniquely positioned to help organizations operationalize AI—from experimentation to enterprise production to AI cloud gigafactories,” said Yuanqing Yang, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo.

Yang noted that as agentic AI triggers exponential growth in inferencing workloads, strict cost control and optimized performance per token are now mission-critical metrics for enterprise scaling.

Middle East Demand For Hybrid Enterprise AI Solutions

The shift toward localized inferencing is particularly pronounced in the Middle East tech ecosystem. Regional data shows that 62% of organizations favor hybrid AI deployments over pure cloud approaches.

Enterprise leaders and policymakers across the MENA region are increasingly prioritizing local inferencing to maintain stringent data control, adhere to emerging data sovereignty frameworks, and enable low-latency, real-time decision-making. By adopting on-premises infrastructure alongside cloud services, Middle Eastern enterprises can secure their proprietary datasets while deploying complex AI models in highly regulated sectors like finance and public sector administration.

Powering AI Inferencing From Workstations To The Cloud

To capture this growing market, Lenovo and NVIDIA are releasing a full stack of AI hardware and software solutions. At the workstation level, Lenovo introduced new mobile and desktop systems, including the ThinkPad P series and ThinkStation P5 Gen 2, equipped with next-generation NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs. These devices enable developers to run local inferencing for models with up to 200 billion parameters.

At the enterprise and hyperscaler levels, Lenovo is deploying inferencing-optimized ThinkSystem and ThinkEdge servers. The hardware stack includes platforms powered by NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra for large-scale fine-tuning, as well as the Lenovo ThinkAgile HX650a integrated with Nutanix Enterprise AI.

“AI has entered the production era. Intelligence is now generated in real time—and enterprises need systems built for that scale,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.

For gigawatt-scale cloud deployments, Lenovo is serving as a launch partner for the fully liquid-cooled NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform. Designed for hyperscale and sovereign AI cloud providers, the system claims up to 10x higher throughput and significantly reduced cost per token compared to previous generations, improving the operational economics of large-scale agentic AI.
