The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture, the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), and Tuwaiq Academy, has launched the Mawhiba Skills Enrichment Program. The initiative is designed to develop the personal and cognitive skills of gifted students, preparing them to become future leaders who can contribute to the Kingdom’s national development.

Quick Facts

  • Multi-partner initiative by Mawhiba, Monsha’at, and more.
  • Four training tracks: AI, entrepreneurship, writing, public speaking.
  • Targets students in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar.

A Collaborative Push for Future-Ready Skills

The program offers an integrated training package that combines interactive sessions, practical activities, and educational games. It is structured around four main tracks, each supported by a key partner, to provide specialized training in high-demand areas.

The collaboration brings together specialized expertise: the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, supports the creative writing track. Monsha’at leads the entrepreneurship and innovation track, while Tuwaiq Academy provides support for the artificial intelligence curriculum.

Four Tracks to Shape Future Leaders

The curriculum is divided into distinct paths to build a comprehensive skillset. The Public Speaking and Oratory track aims to develop students’ communication skills, confidence, and control over body language. The Creative Writing track, named “Generation of Literature,” focuses on enhancing expressive and literary abilities, as well as critical and creative thinking.

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation track introduces students to core business concepts and equips them to turn their ideas into viable projects. The Artificial Intelligence track provides foundational knowledge in the field, covering concepts like machine learning, data, and algorithms.

Targeting Gifted Students Across the Kingdom

The program is aimed at students from the first year of middle school to the third year of high school who are part of the National Program for Gifted Identification. The training will be delivered in person at select schools in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar during the second semester.

To ensure broader access for talented students across different regions of Saudi Arabia, the program will also be offered remotely through an online educational platform.
