The Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF) has opened applications for Cohort 13 of its Innovation Accelerator, a six-month program for startups at the market stage and beyond.

The UAE-backed program offers expert mentorship, tailored support and access to local and regional networks. According to MBRIF, the accelerator is designed for innovators looking to scale and build a presence in the UAE or expand their existing UAE operations.

Eligible startups should have innovation with significant market potential and operate in one of seven priority sectors: technology, education, clean energy, water, transport, health or space.

The selection process includes four stages: eligibility, qualification, evaluation and a question-and-answer session with MBRIF’s Independent Advisory and Decision Committee. Applicants are expected to submit materials including a demo video, pitch deck, supporting documents and a pitch video as they progress.

MBRIF says the program is provided at no cost, does not charge fees and does not take equity. The initiative, launched by the UAE Ministry of Finance, has accelerated more than 100 innovators, according to its website.
