Pan-African infrastructure leader Netis Group has acquired a majority stake in Netcom Technologies, a well-established technology integrator based in Casablanca. The deal, signed on February 17, 2026, marks a significant move by Netis to solidify its telecom operations in Morocco and strategically expand its service portfolio into critical IT infrastructure and high-availability security systems.
A Strategic Expansion into Morocco
The acquisition provides Netis Group with a strong foothold in the Moroccan tech ecosystem. Netcom Technologies, founded in 1992, has a long-standing reputation for providing high-value technical solutions to both public institutions and private organizations across the Kingdom. This partnership will anchor Netis’ traditional telecom activities while leveraging Netcom’s local expertise to introduce a broader range of services.
New Leadership Drives Growth
This expansion follows a recent leadership change at Netis Group, with Alykhan Kassam appointed as CEO in October 2025 to spearhead the company’s next growth phase. The group’s ambitious strategy is supported by a powerful consortium of investors, including Amethis, AfricInvest, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Proparco, signaling strong confidence in its pan-African vision.
