Nvidia Targets $500B in AI Infrastructure Financing With Six Financial Giants

1 Min Read

Nvidia has partnered with six major financial institutions to launch compute financing platforms aimed at raising more than $500 billion in third-party capital for artificial intelligence infrastructure.

The initiative brings together Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR as demand for AI computing capacity continues to grow. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the company could backstop up to $125 billion, equivalent to 25% of the potential deals.

According to the announcement, the platforms will help frontier AI developers, enterprises, governments and cloud providers access Nvidia-based infrastructure. They are also designed to create longer-term, usage-linked investment opportunities for asset managers and private capital firms.

Nvidia said the arrangements would create dedicated pools of capital for customers at scale and at attractive rates. However, the company did not disclose the financial terms, the individual firms’ investment commitments or a timeline for deploying the planned capital.

The move comes as governments, companies and startups expand data centre capacity to support AI workloads, while major technology companies continue to signal that AI spending will remain strong.
