Saudi AI infrastructure company OmniOps has signed a memorandum of understanding with HPE at LEAP 2026 to develop sovereign AI solutions for government and enterprise organisations.
The collaboration brings together HPE’s Saudi-made infrastructure with OmniOps’ Saudi-developed AI platforms and in-country deployment capabilities. It is aligned with HPE’s Saudi Made, Developed & Deployed initiative, which aims to strengthen local technology capabilities and accelerate AI adoption in the Kingdom.
According to the announcement, the companies plan to create an end-to-end stack in which servers, infrastructure and AI management software are built in Saudi Arabia and operated within its jurisdiction. The solutions are intended to help organisations move AI projects from experimentation to production, with validation, deployment and support handled locally.
OmniOps’ Bunyan platform enables organisations to deploy and manage AI workloads across cloud, on-premises and air-gapped environments. The platform provides access to large language models hosted in Saudi Arabia and is designed to work with different AI infrastructure providers, including locally produced HPE compute.
OmniOps founding CEO Mohammed Altassan said customers in government, aviation and financial services increasingly want greater control over data, software and underlying hardware. HPE’s Mohammad Alrehaili said the partnership would provide a foundation for deploying sovereign AI at scale.
