Ooredoo Kuwait and the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) have launched ON Academy, a five-week programme designed to help young Kuwaitis build skills across media, content creation, artificial intelligence, financial literacy and professional development.
Announced on August 31, 2026, the programme is open to Kuwaiti participants aged 22 to 30. It combines specialist training with workshops, weekly assignments, competitive challenges and a final project.
The curriculum covers journalism, marketing and public relations, television and radio production, content creation, AI, financial literacy, leadership, teamwork and strategic relationship-building. Sessions will be led by Kuwaiti media professionals and academics.
Participants will work on practical assignments, develop and present ideas, respond to feedback and manage deadlines. The programme is intended to strengthen decision-making, communication and collaboration while connecting creative skills to employment, entrepreneurship and freelance opportunities.
NBK will contribute the financial literacy component, including guidance on understanding the value of creative skills, marketing services and managing income opportunities. Ooredoo Kuwait said the programme will also address professional ethics and the wider impact of media and digital content.
According to the announcement, ON Academy aims to help participants turn media and technology skills into sustainable professional opportunities as AI and digital platforms reshape Kuwait’s creative industries.
