Palestine has launched the second phase of the Palestinian Innovation and Entrepreneurship Catalyst Program, PIEC Scaleup, aiming to support 202 companies through an eight-stage pathway from idea validation to regional expansion.
Launched in Ramallah under the theme “From Idea to Regional Expansion,” the program is designed to help startups move beyond product development into market entry, investment readiness, fundraising and growth. The initiative is being implemented by Flow Accelerator and Flat6Labs, with support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Swiss Representative Office in Palestine, alongside public and private-sector partners.
The first phase helped 37 startups reach the market, while 10 more advanced companies joined acceleration programs. Four institutional investment deals were recorded, and around 40% of supported companies became active outside Palestine, according to the announcement.
The new phase will run from September 2026 through December 2029, backed by a budget of approximately CHF 3.18 million, according to the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Its stages cover incubation, product development, acceleration, market entry, investment readiness, fundraising, growth and regional expansion.
The program also aims to strengthen Flow Ventures as an investment-support mechanism, including structured financing and post-investment support for high-potential companies. Organizers say the broader goal is to connect startups with investors, customers and regional markets while supporting more sustainable businesses and job creation.
