Saudi Arabia-based investment firm Pinnacle has launched a venture capital fund focused on growth-stage technology companies and secondary investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
The fund will invest through primary funding rounds and secondary transactions. According to the announcement, the strategy is intended to give investors exposure to established Saudi companies while adding liquidity to the country’s venture capital ecosystem.
Pinnacle will primarily target fintech, e-commerce, health and lifestyle, and technology businesses focused on urban living, mobility and real estate.
The firm, which is affiliated with the Watar Partners network, said the fund addresses a gap in Saudi Arabia’s maturing venture market. While more companies are reaching established and profitable growth stages, access to growth capital and exit opportunities remains limited compared with developed markets.
In fintech, Pinnacle sees opportunities linked to regulatory developments and the shift toward digital financial services. It also plans to back businesses supporting Riyadh’s development, including housing, mobility, real estate and urban services. E-commerce and health and lifestyle are additional focus areas.
The fund aims to provide growth capital to Saudi technology companies while supporting greater secondary-market activity in the Kingdom.
