Syria-based on-demand services platform Salehli has raised $100,000 in pre-seed funding led by EBLA Ventures, with participation from Maynger Ventures and investors from Syria, the Gulf and East Asia, according to an announcement by the company.
Launched around 10 months ago with support from the Thimar Program, Salehli said it has built a network of more than 3,500 verified professionals across multiple specialties and cities. The platform has also reached over 15,000 users, received more than 10,000 service requests and started generating revenue.
The company connects users with verified professionals offering services across different fields. The new funding will support the expansion of services on the platform, the rollout of its business-to-business model for companies and institutions, and preventive maintenance services.
Salehli also plans to expand into more Syrian cities as it moves into its next stage of growth.
