Salesforce Rolls Out Free Enterprise AI for Small Businesses Across the GCC

3 Min Read

Salesforce, the AI CRM company, has announced that its Agentforce AI tools are now available across its Salesforce Suites for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The integration comes at no extra cost and requires no technical setup, aiming to lower the barrier for smaller companies to adopt enterprise-level AI.

Quick Facts

  • Agentforce AI is now embedded in Salesforce Suites.
  • The upgrade comes at no additional cost.
  • Targets small and medium businesses in the GCC.

Tackling the AI Adoption Hurdle

While many small business leaders see the efficiency gains from AI, adoption remains a challenge. A Salesforce report found that while 90 percent of SMB leaders globally say AI tools boost their efficiency, 47 percent feel overwhelmed by the rapid pace of technological change, cost, and complexity.

Salesforce’s move aims to address these barriers directly. By embedding AI summaries, draft communications, and an Employee Agent into the existing CRM workflow, the company is removing what it calls the “AI tax”—the extra cost and complexity that have traditionally kept advanced AI out of reach for smaller organizations.

Aligning with GCC’s National Growth Strategies

This initiative lands as GCC governments increasingly prioritize the private sector and SME productivity to diversify their economies. SMEs form the vast majority of registered businesses in the region and are critical to national growth plans like Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the UAE’s economic agenda.

“The GCC is home to some of the most forward-looking markets for small business in the world,” said Mohammed Alkhotani, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Middle East at Salesforce. “In the UAE, more than 557,000 enterprises contribute 63.5 percent of non-oil GDP, and in Saudi Arabia, 1.3 million registered enterprises are driving the Kingdom toward its Vision 2030 target of raising SME contribution from 30 to 35 percent of GDP.”

Alkhotani added, “Our role is to ensure the technology available to these businesses matches that ambition. Agentforce in Suites removes the barriers that have historically kept enterprise-grade AI out of reach for smaller organisations, without adding cost, complexity, or a learning curve. For a founder in Dubai or a growing business in Riyadh, that is a meaningful shift in what is possible.”

With the Employee Agent now available in the Starter and Pro Suites, teams can use a conversational interface to get account context, log activities, and generate follow-up communications without needing to switch platforms or involve IT specialists.
