Saudi Arabia-based enterprise AI startup Gaia has raised $1.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Seedra Ventures.
Founded in 2026 by Badr Al-Malluh and Mohammad Rababah, Gaia is building a sovereign AI platform that connects enterprise knowledge, files, emails, systems and workflows while keeping organisational data within the company’s environment, according to the announcement.
The platform combines enterprise search, a generative AI assistant and AI agents. Employees can search connected systems for permission-aware information, receive answers grounded in company data with cited sources, and automate tasks across business applications. Higher-risk agent actions can be routed to people for approval.
Gaia said it will use the funding to continue developing its platform and work with Saudi enterprises applying AI to operational challenges. The company is focused on helping organisations work across fragmented systems, including email, files, CRM and ERP platforms, without moving their information outside the enterprise.
The funding comes as Saudi organisations accelerate digital transformation and explore AI tools for internal knowledge management, decision-making and workflow automation.
