Saudi AI startup RIME has raised more than $2M in a Seed round led by SEEDRA Ventures, with participation from Athlah Investment, Unity Invest Partners and angel investors.
Founded in 2024 by Mohammed Almarshidi and Arif Alotaibi, RIME develops a platform that helps enterprises deploy AI agents at operational sites. The platform combines edge computing and artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) to process data and support real-time decisions locally.
According to the company, RIME’s technology currently connects more than 6,000 cameras to AI agents across over 2,000 operational sites in the GCC. Its systems are designed for locations including retail stores, branches and service centres, using cameras and sensors to support operational efficiency, compliance and loss reduction.
The company said it will use the new funding to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia, accelerate platform development and help enterprises deploy scalable AI applications across their daily operations.
The round follows an earlier Pre-Seed investment led by SEEDRA Ventures, which has continued backing the company since its early stages.
