Saudi Arabia Launches Suhail Accelerator for Space and Dual-Use Startups

Saudi Arabia has launched the Suhail Accelerator, a new program focused on space technology and dual-use startups seeking to enter the Kingdom and the wider MENA region.

Announced at LEAP 2026, the accelerator was created through a five-member partnership comprising SEQUENCIVE Holding, ALTAIRI SPACE, acitoflux, Nadir Space Venture and AZO Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen.

Suhail is targeting early-stage and high-growth companies with intellectual property and proven, use-case-driven solutions across areas including communications, navigation and Earth observation. The program is designed to help startups establish a presence in Saudi Arabia, develop local partnerships, access investors and engage potential customers and government stakeholders.

According to the program website, the open call is expected to attract more than 500 applicants, with six companies ultimately selected for expansion in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Selected startups will receive online market preparation, one-on-one coaching and a five-day intensive in Saudi Arabia involving investors and government stakeholders.

Applications are open to international and local startups until November 15, 2026. Candidates will be selected by the end of the year, with the online program beginning in January 2027 and the on-site mission planned for mid-to-late March.
