Saudi-founded sustainability company Ecoryx has launched Climedge, an AI-powered platform designed to help companies manage emissions and sustainability data in one place.
Launched in Al Khobar on 7 October 2026, Climedge connects with existing company systems, automates emissions tracking and generates audit-ready reports aligned with frameworks including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), according to the announcement.
The platform also includes benchmarking tools, an interactive chatbot and analytical features to help companies identify gaps in their data and support decision-making. Ecoryx said Climedge is built to address sustainability information that is often spread across spreadsheets and disconnected systems, with inconsistent formats and changing disclosure requirements.
Climedge’s data is hosted in Saudi Arabia, supporting local data-residency requirements. Its launch coincides with the Kingdom’s Year of Artificial Intelligence and is positioned by Ecoryx as supporting national sustainability priorities under Vision 2030, the Saudi Green Initiative and the Middle East Green Initiative.
Ahmed Al-Harbi, founder and CEO of Ecoryx, said reliable environmental data is becoming increasingly important to investors, regulators and international customers as companies pursue net-zero goals.
Ecoryx provides sustainability advisory, ESG services, digital solutions and capacity-building programs across the MENA region.
