Saudi businessman and social development leader Dr. Mustafa bin Mohammed Al-Qurashi will receive the “Golden Man” award from the Arab Achievers Foundation, recognising his work in vocational training, youth empowerment and community development.
Al-Qurashi chairs the Handicraft Charitable Association in Makkah, headquartered in Jeddah, and has led the Al-Weam Commercial Group since 1990. Founded in 1430 AH, the association describes itself as Saudi Arabia’s first specialised charitable handicraft organisation, focusing on vocational training to help young people and women secure jobs or launch small businesses.
Under Al-Qurashi’s leadership, the organisation has pursued a development-focused model that uses real estate endowment returns to finance training and development programmes. The approach aims to build practical skills and support self-reliance rather than limit assistance to direct aid, according to the announcement.
Major General Sameh Lotfy, chairman of the Arab Achievers Foundation’s board of trustees, said the award recognises Al-Qurashi’s combination of business experience and social responsibility, as well as his contribution to vocational training and empowerment.
The award will be presented during the 15th Arab Achievers Forum, scheduled to take place in Egypt on September 19 and 20, 2026, with participation from business leaders, public figures and innovators from across the Arab world.
