Saudi regulated finance platform Tarabut has secured $50M (SAR 187M) in strategic financing to expand its embedded finance infrastructure, with a sharper focus on the Kingdom.
The financing was announced in Riyadh on September 9, 2026. Backers include Riyad Bank, the X-Tech Fund managed by SAB Invest, GIB Saudi Arabia, Zamil Group and Kanoo Ventures, alongside other regional institutions. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals, including from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
Tarabut said the capital will support end-to-end embedded finance services that combine verification, financial decision-making and financing within a single flow under a partner institution’s brand. The platform uses real financial behaviour and live cash-flow information alongside traditional documentation to help institutions assess SMEs and consumers.
The company said this approach could help address delays in traditional underwriting, particularly for SMEs that may wait weeks for financing. Tarabut has processed more than 5 billion API calls across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain, connecting banks, distributors and consumers through its regulated platform.
Founded in 2017 by Abdulla Almoayed, Tarabut said the new financing will help it deepen its presence in Saudi Arabia and develop further embedded finance products and integrations.
