Financing provided by fintech companies to Saudi Arabia’s industrial projects rose 130% year-on-year to SR541 million, or more than $144M, in the first half of 2026, according to the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

The figure compares with SR234 million recorded during the same period in 2025. The increase comes as the ministry expands its work with fintech companies to broaden industrial financing options and raise the volume of funding available.

The ministry said it held executive workshops to introduce industrial companies to available financing tools and products. It also increased data-sharing with fintech providers and continued monitoring the financing needs of industrial businesses.

The number of fintech companies providing financing to industrial projects more than doubled, rising from three in H1 2025 to seven in H1 2026. The companies named include Tameed, Tamra Capital, Lendo and Sukuk Capital.
